Governance
The North America and Caribbean (NAC) region operates through a governance structure designed to ensure effective regional coordination while minimising administrative complexity. At its core is the NAC Regional Committee, which brings together representatives of member organisations from across the region to identify common priorities, provide strategic advice to Education International, and strengthen cooperation among affiliates.
The structure serves as a platform for dialogue, policy development, and regional representation, while maintaining a close link with EI's global governance through the Regional Vice-President and Executive Board members. Its streamlined approach enables the region to remain responsive, collaborative, and focused on advancing the interests of education unions throughout North America and the Caribbean.
